The Academy pathway

Four Stages. One Connected Journey.

  1. Stage 01

    Get Set Up

    Explore the Individual and Family plans, create or sign in to the adult Family Account, complete the steps that apply to your family, enroll and set up the rider, and establish rider access. Setup supports Rider Mode and includes Set Up Rider Sign-In; the exact path can differ for returning families, resumed purchases, and existing riders.

  2. Stage 02

    Learn & Progress

    In Rider Mode, riders work through lessons, scenarios, required interactions, and Quick Checks. Module assessments confirm the required understanding before progression through the 12-module Academy.

  3. Stage 03

    Complete the Academy

    Riders complete all 12 modules and their requirements, pass the Final Exam under its configured requirements, and complete the Safe Rider Pledge. Parent approval and optional practical skills are not graduation gates.

  4. Stage 04

    Graduate

    Qualifying riders reach Academy graduation and receive a Graduate Certificate. Appropriate progress, achievements, and certificate information remain available through the Family Account.

Optional practical skills

Adult-supported practical skill building can reinforce the online course. It is optional, is not a graduation requirement, and is not a road test or proof of independent riding readiness.

The Academy does not confer state licensing, legal qualification, or government certification.

Stage 4

Graduate from the Academy.

After meeting the Academy completion requirements, a rider reaches graduation and receives a Graduate Certificate. Families can access appropriate progress, achievement, and certificate information from the Family Account.
